Our Story

LoveWoolNZ has been born from our passion of this wonderful natural fibre called “WOOL”.

 

We have both grown up on our respective family farms, helping out where we can, doing the hard
yards when it was asked. Experiencing the lambing beats, the long hours at shearing time, docking,
mustering and all doing this while battling with the ever-challenging weather conditions. All of the
above was achieved because we loved the land and the animal’s we were nurturing in a free range
environment.

Realisation came after many years, that the sheep were able to survive in all weather conditions due to the wool jacket that they grew.

Now we live and breath wool. Our family including our children sleep with wool under and on top of,
we have 100% wool carpet in our house, we wear as much wool as we possibly can and even the dog
has a wool bed.

With now having over 30 years of experience appraising, valuing, buying, understanding of
manufacturers wants and needs, it is now time for us to educate, promote, and to provide you with
an experience you will not forget once you have sampled the benefits of wool.

We are both super passionate about the natural benefits and attributes of wool, that we want to share this journey with you all. No other man-made fibre that has been

engineered, modified and re-

invented has come close to ticking all the boxes that wool does.

The beginnings of our business will be started from our garage at home, the heart and sole of our
business is to ensure we are supplying an ethical range of wool products so you too can experience
good health and well-being and as well as knowing you are doing your piece to saving our
environment.

 

The knowledge and expertise we will share with you, will provide the necessary guarantee of product control as we will have already tried, tested, and proven the worth and value.
